Hadish Meseret means “New Foundations.”

We are a Black-led nonprofit in Winnipeg working to create spaces for new beginnings through housing, healing, economic opportunity, and sports.

Rooted in lived experience and community leadership, we support people of African descent and others rebuilding after displacement and systemic exclusion.

We are laying the groundwork for our first major initiative, a community-led housing development designed to offer affordable housing, wellness supports, and opportunities for newcomers to gain training and employment.

Our work is just beginning, but our vision is clear: to build new foundations for stability, belonging, and shared growth in our community.
